• The Alpha Ridge Transfer Station opened in 2005, handling 500+ tons of municipal solid waste every day. After the facility had worn through 2 to 3 inches (5.1 to 7.6 cm) of the original concrete, they overlayed 2,000 ft² (186 m²). with an emerybased topping but soon had delamination problems and were disappointed with the topping’s overall performance.
